What’s there in this film?.

Nocturne (2020), We know this is an Amazon original film, so expect the flick to be good in a little bit of all aspects. Let’s see how the movie is.

The one-line story is, although the heroine and her sister were twins, the heroine remained a little jealous of her sister. This is why the heroine took possession of her sister’s opportunities, she even took her sister’s boyfriend, But the heroine thinks that all this is happening to her by a book. Then the story is what the book is and what happened to the heroine by that book.

Like all horror movies, this movie also has a nonlinear scene at the beginning, it made the movie little interesting to watch as this team expected but not much scary one.

Next up is director Zu Quirke, I think he is also a horror movie lover like us. I haven’t seen his films yet, but it looks like that if you look at his movie collections.

The most promising factor of this film is cast and cinematography, mainly the heroine Sydney Sweeney as Juliet, she has acted as like the character was sewn to her.

Cinematography and camera works just fulfilled the movie with its stunning visuals and drawn the attention of the audience and made the situation more intimate.you can feel the awesomeness of the camera works in the climax, I think this is the good example to describe their camera works.

After the heroine, Madison Iseman as Vivian played in a role equivalent to the heroine. Ivan Shaw as Dr.Cask, at first I thought he was the villain character by his appearance in this film, but actually, his character was different.

The film is based on a psychological thriller genre, so it went very slowly throughout with full of dramas and music concerts.

The story of the film goes hand in hand with the music, so the film can appeal to classical music lovers.

What’s not there in this film?.

Firstly this is fully a dramatic film though it had a few horror scenes, goes hand in hand with classical music, that’s why something was boring throughout the film.

There are a lot of unanswered questions in the film, even if the director leaves it to the audience to guess, the audience like me absolutely does not like this film.

There are a lot of old spices in this film, mainly that teenage sisters clash, most of that scenes are usual one, maybe writer tinted that to a new one, but we can guess the whole story of that characters from the starting, the truth is you will definitely skip these usual plots if you are going to watch this film.

Their screenplay is also a slow-moving one, it is needed for the story to unfold, that’s alright but my thought is, surely you will sleep before the first half if you are watching this film, because of their lazy writtings.

It fits heroine Sydney Sweeney.

Because of her excellent performance as Juliet.

The heroine and her sister Vivian are twins who look different though. the heroine always had jealousy for her sister, which Vivian knows too. but Vivian didn’t take it too seriously.

A woman in the college where they study mysteriously commits suicide. It was talked about throughout college. At this time, the heroine gets a book from that women’s cupboard. The film then moves on to the mysterious events that take place in the life of the heroine by that book.

A fully dramatic psychological thriller, one-time watchable track though it had few flaws, that’s my opinion about this film.but if you are a usual masala movie lover don’t watch this film or else you didn’t know what you watched.
